The Space Travel2 ANC TWS is inspired from the geometric shapes, transparent cockpits, and sleek lines characteristic of classic sci-fi films, leaving a distinctly retro-futuristic impression. Throughout the design phase, the designers aim to revive the concept of future headphone product as envisioned in historical literature, rather than merely focusing on a superficial futuristic appearance. The designer intends to reimagine past interpretations of high-tech everyday objects by reflecting on earlier visions of the future. This approach emphasizes the importance of harmonizing advanced technology with the practicality required for daily use, which is evident in the overall design.
In contrast to most competing products that feature a box cover design requiring users to open and close a lid to access the headphones, and the typical capless designs that often present challenges in accessibility and quality, the Space Travel2 ANC TWS comes with a cohesive design language characterized by geometric lines. This innovative approach incorporates a framework that secures the headphones through the combination of various materials. Such a design not only enhances the overall aesthetic quality but also allows users to intuitively understand how to retrieve, store, and use the headphones, dramatically enhancing user convenience.
A large-sized prominent transparent stand, uniform in thickness and marked by concise geometry, spans the entire design, facilitating a clear and comprehensive display of the headphone and the charging compartment. The proportions and edge detailing align with the rounded corner features and dimensions of the other components, enhancing the overall geometric coherence and minimizing the size. The headphone is securely held within the charging compartment by magnets and is enclosed in a transparent frame that shapes a flat surface level with the headphone, preventing them from dislodging during movement and ensuring easy accessibility.
A non-slip raised hook is integrated at the end of the handle which facilitates the retrieval of the headphone from the charging compartment. Indicator lights shaped like end strips display the status of the charging compartment in various colors. Each edge comes with subtly rounded corners, enhancing tactile comfort and maintaining geometric consistency.
