Tria System

Designed by Dean Skira and developed by Filix Lighting, Tria System reimagines the lighting pole as an architectural element that connects design, technology, and identity in public space.

Tria was created to bring consistency to public spaces and architectural projects. The system allows one product family to adapt to different scales, from small pedestrian areas to large landscape and urban environments, while maintaining the same visual language. The goal is to provide designers and planners with a tool that combines functionality and architectural quality in equal measure.

The characteristic triangular form defines Tria’s appearance. Each side has a purpose, offering surfaces for lighting, sensors, and signage without interrupting the overall composition. The geometry provides strength and balance while giving the pole a recognizable and elegant identity.

An integrated Trace backlight introduces a vertical line of light that becomes part of the pole. This feature improves visibility and orientation after dark and adds a refined visual element that connects the system to its surroundings.

Through the Quick Connect interface, projectors, sensors, and communication modules can be added wherever needed. This modularity supports continuous adaptation of the system over time, allowing new functions such as air quality or weather monitoring, Wi-Fi coverage, or digital wayfinding without structural changes.

Tria is made from anodized and coated aluminum, combining long-term durability with precise detailing. The finish ensures resistance to environmental conditions and preserves the clean appearance of the structure.

Tria System represents collaboration between design and engineering, uniting aesthetic value and practical innovation. It gives light a defined architectural role and turns the lighting pole into a living element of public space that evolves with its environment.
