Not “inserting” flowers, but cradling them.

In the morning, after waking up and washing my face, the next thing I do is change the water for the flowers.
Often, I wake to find stems that were fresh the night before now broken and drooping.
Each time, I wonder if there might be a gentler way to arrange flowers.

Traditionally, a vase is seen as a container of water, where flowers are inserted and held upright by leaning against the rim.

This vase, however, allows flowers to be displayed as if they are softly resting.
It even lets us cherish the moments when the flowers begin to fade, when their stems bend and their petals quietly droop.

In our daily lives, we often seek only the most beautiful moments of nature.
Yet every stage holds its own quiet beauty.
This vase reminds us of that truth—by letting flowers rest softly, it reveals the value not only of their radiant bloom, but also of the gentle passage of time as they bow their heads and quietly fade.

The name KYUKA means “letting flowers rest” in Japanese.
In Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi appreciates the beauty in imperfection and the natural cycle of growth and decay.
KYUKA embodies this philosophy, letting flowers rest gently and revealing the quiet beauty in every stage of their life.
When people encounter it, they feel calmness and a quiet sense of richness.

KYUKA is made using 3D printing technology, enabling forms that harmonize with the organic curves of plants.
It gently supports each flower without burden, helping to prevent stems from breaking.
The material is plant-derived PETG plastic, making it environmentally friendly.
This is not about simply reproducing an existing product with 3D printing, but about creating something born from exploring new possibilities and the unique charm of this method of production.

KYUKA is more than a vase.
It brings quiet, gentle moments into everyday life, and invites us to rethink the relationship between flowers and people.
