The SEROVA Children's Growth eyeglass frame is specifically developed for the vision correction needs of children aged 6 to 12, with its structure and functionality designed to enhance fit precision and optical performance stability.
In recent years, defocus lenses have gained widespread adoption due to their proven effectiveness in controlling myopia progression in children. However, the precise fit of the frame to the eye significantly impacts the stable optical performance of the lens, a factor often overlooked by parents in practice. Through systematic structural improvements and innovative design, SEROVA effectively ensures the optical performance stability of lenses under varying wearing conditions, guaranteeing accurate and sustained projection of the defocus zone.
SEROVA introduces the pioneering concept of a triple mechanical support system in frame design, encompassing the nose pads, temples, and ear hooks, to maintain the lens at an optimal distance of 10 to 12 millimeters directly in front of the eyeball, ensuring stable defocus zone projection. Additionally, the temple-to-sleeve connection features a three-level, 9-mm adjustable elastic clasp, allowing children to customize the fit based on head shape to maintain a consistent eye-lens distance. The nose pads support a 4-mm vertical micro-adjustment to keep the pupil aligned with the lens’s optical center.
During ages 6 to 12, children’s head shapes develop rapidly. SEROVA’s multi-adjustable design ensures the frame consistently adapts to these changes in head and facial contours. The frame employs an ergonomic 54.8 mm curvature radius arc structure, closely matching the facial curves of children to enhance comfort and stability, preventing slippage.
The temple ear hooks feature a split-structure design, with soft silicone used near the ear for comfort, and a spiral shape forming a channeled sweat-wicking groove to improve shock absorption and localized breathability. Similarly, the inner side of the nose pads includes micro-textured drainage grooves, enabling scientific sweat and moisture management across the frame, better meeting the demands of children’s daily activities.
