The collection draws from an experience of being bullied, reflecting today's social media pressures on self-image. Influenced by Ito Junji's manga, Salvador Dali, Dorothea Tanning, and Jesse Kanda, it explores body transformation without gravity, often unsettling and provocative. Junji's work highlights societal pressures and deformed bodies under the male gaze. I translate horror and tension through manipulated fabrics and exaggerated silhouettes in the clothing.
