Morto A Galla is a sustainable furniture design company specializing in one of kind eco-friendly pieces built with recycled materials made into eclectic masterpieces. Our mission is to create timeless pieces while eliminating waste which impacts the environment and is responsibly handcrafted in the USA. UNEDO is our new modular assembly furniture line assembled with a repeating single wood piece. The edge trims can be white washed recycled pine wood or natural rubber finish with easy to install Chicago screws.

UNEDO harmonizes spaces with its thin linear Baltic Birch Wood square pieces generating an array of shelving options which can be moved easily to construct into distinct configurations. The uniqueness of the design is that it can be expanded almost without limits by combining the single wood piece repeatedly. And the fact that the interlocking slot is offset allows the possibility of having 9 different sizes of cells to accommodate oversize books or smaller items.

This Modular Shelving Unit can be used as a piece of abstract art against a large wall to further accent the space. Our array of warm colors combined with the right soft lighting delivers the right flow of energy to be the central focus of a home space. An extensive number of practical shelving pieces that can be assembled efficiently and effectively. It can be disassembled quickly, transported and reassembled in different configurations even separated into smaller units

UNEDO’s beautiful and functional design block is formed of eight rectangular wood panels fitted together by sliding elements into interlocking grooves creating a single cell. Like a Rubik’s cube, UNEDO can connect different color pieces to produce lively “Do-it-Yourself” Units.

At Morto A Gala, we advocate Environmental responsibility to our clients and vendors to rethink about waste. This is not only reflected in our design approach. Luigi Vitalini, LEED Architect, Artist and Designer, started this venture to promote his devoted passion towards the awareness of social and environmental responsibility thru education, elevation and regeneration of biodegradable materials.
