The Legend

The content of oriental poetry inspires the design. The abstract concept is visualized by "putting emotion in the scene" to express the landscape imagery. Using stainless steel and variable curves in the design creates an aesthetic of both rigidity and flexibility. The changing curves symbolize the change of perspective from microscopic to macroscopic; one is like a grand and majestic image of everything, and the other is like a trickle of water, reflecting the harmony and infinite vitality of heaven and earth.
The top of the work is presented as a pine, drawing on the plant's resistance to heat and humidity to convey the symbolism of perseverance against hardship. The bottom of the work is made of a diamond cut, and combined with the pine at the top, it symbolizes the plant breaking out of the ground and gaining new life. From the top to the bottom of the art piece, the curved lines are linked to form a Möbius band, symbolizing the infinite vitality of the changing seasons, echoing the eternity and transformation of life.
The artwork is 122 wide, 106 deep, and 250 centimeters high. It is made of 316 stainless steel, which is resistant to abrasion and corrosion and is strong and resistant to sand and wind, giving it a longer life. The titanium plating and gold leaf elements add layers and delicate texture.
